The first novel of the ten part series written by non other than military inspired Tom Clancy. After Steve day; director
of Net Force is assassinated, Co-director Alex Michaeals is jumped into action. A Russian terrorist named Vladimir Plekhanov
uses codes to break into main-frame super computer to wreak havoc and steals money from security contracts. By doing this
he aims to buy governments so he can become rich and powerful. As Director Michaels works his way to capturing the vile Russian,
he is stopped by his fear of another an assassination; but this time the target will be himself.
In the Net Force series there are five characters that appears regularly. After the assassination of Director Steve Day,
Alex Michaels is promoted to the top of Net Force only to have continuous fears of assassinations occurring again, especially
now the main target is Michaels. Toni Fiorelli/Michaels is a position under Alex, and the both of them work amazingly well
with each other, and they eventually get married. Jay Gridley is a friend to Alex Michaels and the main programmer for Net
Force, and always makes the key breakthroughs saving the inevitable destruction of Net Force. General John Howard is the leader
of the Net Force Military arm, plans and executes the extractions or incursions. Lieutenant Julio Fernandez is a friend of
General John Howard, and a member of the Net Force Military unit.
